I have been working directly with patients since 2005 when I began nursing school. In 2007, I made a switch to respiratory therapy. Finally, in 2017 I progressed into Photobiomodulation Therapy and this is my happy place and where I plan to finish out my health career. Spending nearly twelve years in traditional medicine I began noticing that often it wasn’t enough. Though being treated, many still suffered from pain and poor quality of life. Some even expressed feeling depressed due to their limitations. As a respiratory therapist, I also began noticing the alarming rate of kidney disease in America and a lot of it has to do with long-term medication use due to chronic illness. All this changed for me in 2016 when I was first introduced to Photobiomodulation Therapy, PBMT, by Dr. Martin Henderson, DVM. He learned about it as an alternative to treating his son’s rheumatoid arthritis. Dr. Henderson and his wife Nicole knew their son’s illness would be lifelong and they wanted a safe and effective way to manage it without the need for medications. After over a year of research I joined Dr. Henderson in opening Texas Laser Therapy where we specialized in PBMT. I stayed on for another 3 years under new ownership and I have recently gone out on my own. I am truly impressed by this simple yet complex therapy.

PERSONAL:
My husband Cody and I have a 3 year old son named Tate. We currently live in Seguin though we have lived several years in New Braunfels prior to our move to Seguin. We love animals and have 3 dogs and 2 cats. We dream of having a few acres and more animals in the future. We enjoy spending time with family and friends and cooking. Another cool fact about PBMT is that not only is it helpful to humans but it is also helpful to pets.
